CVWC Scholarship Program

The Chula Vista Woman’s Club Scholarship is awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to their future goals.

This scholarship reflects our club’s long-standing dedication to supporting and empowering young women in our community as they pursue higher education or vocational training.

Eligibility

Graduating seniors attending the following public high schools are eligible to apply:

• Chula Vista high School

• Hilltop High School

• Castle Park High School

• A Trade School

Scholarships may be used toward enrollment at a trade school, community college, four-year college, or university of the recipient’s choice.

Application Process

• Applications are available beginning March each year.

• Students may obtain the application through their High School Counseling Center or download it directly from our website below.

• Completed applications must be submitted directly to the Chula Vista Woman’s Club Scholarship Committee by the stated deadline.

Selection Process

All applications are reviewed by the CVWC Scholarship Committee. The selection process is conducted internally by club board members to ensure fairness, consistency, and alignment with our mission.

Applicants are evaluated based on:

• Academic Performance

• School and Community Involvement

• Leadership and Service

• Personal Goals and Written Responses

Final recipients are selected by the CVWC Scholarship Committee. Awardees and school administration will be notified once the selection process is complete.
