Philanthropic Projects

We collaborate with the Chula Vista Elementary School District to support an increasing number of homeless students and their families. Our program provides gift cards for groceries, clothing, and essential school supplies to help these students thrive academically and alleviate hardships for their families.

We are committed to empowering the next generation in our community through education. Each year, we offer scholarships to deserving students from local high schools, helping them achieve their academic and career goals. These scholarships provide financial assistance to students who have demonstrated excellence in their studies or need additional support to pursue higher education.

Every month, members of the Chula Vista Woman's Club gather to create decorative placemats for Meals on Wheels, brightening the days of homebound seniors. These placemats not only enhance their mealtime experience but also serve as cheerful home decorations. Many seniors, living alone, deeply appreciate these gestures of care.

The Closet is a program of the Chula Vista Community Collaborative, part of the Chula Vista Elementary School District, dedicated to supporting local families in need by providing free clothing donated by the community. Members of the Chula Vista Woman’s Club volunteer their time to help operate and support the program.

The Chula Vista Woman's Club is deeply committed to supporting the residents and spouses at the Veterans Home of Chula Vista. Beyond providing monetary donations and essential items, our members bring hands-on joy through active programs, including hosting fun-filled Bingo games and bringing our annual Fashion Show directly on the road to their facility. Every contribution and visit directly enhances the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our local veterans. Join us in making a meaningful difference!
