The Annual State of the City Address for Chula Vista

This year’s event will be especially exciting as it marks the first official event at the new Gaylord Pacific Resort and Convention Center!

This is a free event and open to the public. To help us plan for seating, please RSVP by clicking here.

If you’re unable to attend in person, a recording of the address will be available on the City’s website within 48 hours of the event.

Event Details:
 Date: Tuesday, May 27, 2025
 Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
 Location: Gaylord Pacific Resort and Convention Center

1000 H Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910

We will be at the Public Plaza, on the northwest side of the Gaylord hotel. This will be an outdoor event and the plazas are grass lawns (please wear appropriate attire). Attendees for the event are getting a discounted rate for parking in the parking structure, from $45 to $20. There is limited street parking. We also recommend for people to take the J Street exit on the I-5, as the H Street exit may be heavily impacted.
